Online Calculator Lab collects minimal information. Here is a complete list of what may be collected:

• Server logs: When you visit any page on this site, our web server automatically records standard log data — your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and the pages you visit. This is standard for any website and is used only for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues. Log data is not linked to individual identities and is retained for a maximum of 30 days.
• Contact form submissions: If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you submit. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.
• Analytics data: We may use analytics software (described in Section 4) that collects aggregated, anonymized data about how pages are used — page views, session duration, and general geographic region. This data does not identify individual users.

We do not collect: payment information (we have no paid features), social media profile data, device identifiers beyond standard browser headers, or any information from calculator inputs.

2. Calculator Data — What Happens to Your Inputs

This is the most important section for most visitors.

You can verify this by using any calculator on this site while your device is in airplane mode (after the page has loaded). The calculator will still work — because the calculation happens entirely on your device.

When you leave or refresh a calculator page, all values you entered are discarded. We have no record of what any user entered into any calculator at any time.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites. Here is how we use them:

• Essential cookies: WordPress (the platform this site runs on) sets a small number of essential cookies for basic site functionality — for example, a session cookie if you submit a contact form. These are temporary and expire when you close your browser.
• Analytics cookies: If analytics software is enabled (see Section 4), it may set a cookie to distinguish unique visitors from returning ones. This cookie contains a random identifier, not personal information.
• No tracking cookies: We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking cookies, or cookies that follow you across websites.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the functionality of any calculator on this site — all calculator operations run without cookies.

4. Analytics

We may use web analytics software to understand which calculators are most used, how visitors navigate the site, and where technical issues occur. Any analytics data we collect is:

• Aggregated and anonymized — it shows trends, not individual users
• Used only to improve the site — not sold or shared with advertisers
• Subject to data minimization — we collect only what is needed for site improvement

If we use Google Analytics, it is configured with IP anonymization enabled. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Third-Party Services

This site is built on WordPress and hosted on a web server. The following third-party services may process data as part of normal site operation:

• Hosting provider: Processes server log data as described above. Subject to the hosting provider's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts: This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to download the font files. Google may log this request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• WordPress: The content management system powering this site. No personal data is shared with Automattic (WordPress.org is open-source software, not a service).

We do not use: advertising networks, affiliate tracking scripts, social media pixel trackers, or any scripts that track user behavior across websites.

6. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). The calculators on this site — including educational tools like GPA and attendance calculators — can be used without providing any personal information.

7. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data under laws such as the GDPR (European Union), CCPA (California), or other applicable regulations. Since we collect minimal data, most of these rights apply in a limited way:

• Right to access: You can request information about what personal data we hold about you. For most visitors, the only data we may hold is server log entries (IP address, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days, and any contact form submission you have made.
• Right to deletion: You can request deletion of your contact form data. Server log data is automatically deleted after 30 days.
• Right to object: You can object to analytics data collection by using the Google Analytics opt-out tool or by disabling cookies in your browser.
• Right to portability: Any data you have submitted via the contact form can be provided to you in a readable format upon request.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site and any data we hold. The site uses HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption) for all connections. Contact form data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we commit to notifying affected users of any data breach that involves personal information, as required by applicable law.
